Bluegrass Comes to Washington Twp

The DePue family has a long tradition of music-making, over 40 years. The band of four violinist brothers, The DePue Brothers Band, recorded and toured from 2007 to 2021. When lead brother Alex passed away in 2022, the band was silenced for a time.

We are fortunate to host the revived DePue Brother Band in our first "grassical" concert, the term the band coined from their mash-up of genres: jazz, blues, rock, folk, and classical. Violinists Jason DePue, Nigel Armstrong and Maya Buchanan will fiddle while Don Shean, Dave Cullen,

Kevin McConnell, and Don Liuzzi complete the band.

August, 2025 Generous donors have made it possible for Music at Bunker Hill to make a tangible investment in local student musicians, inspiring them with our artists' passion for the arts and standards of excellence. The Music at Bunker Hill scholarship program is designed to provide private instruction to students who demonstrate high proficiency on their instrument along with a strong desire to further their skills when this would otherwise not be possible. These students are recommended by teachers in Gloucester County school districts who have been invited by the scholarship committee. The scholarship funds can also be used to support a school music program with a specific unmet need.
