In 1989 by presidential decree they were dubbed Musical Family of America, in 1993 were the subject of a nationally televised PBS documentary “Music for All Occasions”, and in 2005 were featured on the commercially released documentary Music From the Inside Out.  The band has performed in over 30 states throughout the US. Their classical experience has included leading concertmaster roles with Indianapolis Symphony, Philly Pops, Stars Wars Touring Orchestra, as well as memberships with The Philadelphia Orchestra.

The DePue Brothers Band performed, recorded and toured from 2007-2021.  When lead brother Alex passed away in January of 2022, the band went mostly dormant.   While a few concerts occurred in 2023-2024, this year marks the first real effort to revive the band with Jason and/or Zach DePue leading with past guest violinist, Nigel Armstrong and new violinist and vocalist, Maya Anjali-Buchanan.
